Not so far away from the Municipal Theatre, the Ho Chi Minh City Hall is also in the centre of the city, where massive number of tourists come to see everyday. Specifically, it is placed on 86 Le Thanh Ton Street, right in front of Nguyen Hue Avenue, Dis.1. Along with the Municipal Theatre as one of the most beautiful architecture of the city, it’s also designed by a French architect simulated on bell towers in the northern France. This building was built from 1898 to 1909.
Ho Chi Minh City Hall is used as the city’s administrative agency in the administrative system of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Thus, people can’t go inside but can only have a look at the front. Extra information: right next to this place is a long streets of shopping with famous brands.
